چکیده
The elevating temperature makes heat stress one of the major issues for wheat production globally. To elucidate genetic basis and map tolerance QTLs agroecology State Bihar under NEPZ, a set 166 doubled haploid lines (DHLs) derived from cross between PBW343/IC252874 was used. population evaluated normal sown (NS) late (LS) conditions two cropping seasons. canopy (CT) showed positive correlations with grain yield, whereas Soil Plant Analysis Development (SPAD) chlorophyll meter value not significantly correlated associated yield (GY) in both conditions. Composite interval mapping identified total 12 quantitative trait loci (QTLs) viz., 2 (NS), 10 mapped on linkage groups 1A, 1D, 2B, 2D, 3B, 4D, 5B, 6D, during crop seasons 2017–18 2018–19. Combining results these revealed stable QTL GY chromosome 3B which explained 11.84% to 21.24% phenotypic variance sowing CT SPAD detected while 5B. could be targeted improvement marker-assisted selection wheat. tools like exploited screen large number breeding lines.

Mapping QTLs related to Zn and Fe concentrations in bread wheat (Triticum aestivum) grain using microsatellite markers
Mineral nutrient malnutrition, particularly deficiency in zinc and iron, afflicts over 3 billion people worldwide. Biofortification of food crops is the best approach for conciliating the micronutrient deficiencies. Understanding the genetic basis of their accumulation is the preconditions for enhancing of these micronutrients. In our study, a mapping population of a set of 118 recombinant inbr...
متن کاملGenetic Heritability for Grain Yield and Its Related Characters in Spring Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.)
Seven F3 progenies and their 8 parental lines of spring wheat were evaluated for some genetic parameters viz., coefficient of variability (Cv), genetic variance (Vg), heritability percentage (h %) and genetic advance (GA) in 7 quantitative characters (grain yield and its associated traits). Highly significant (p≤0.01) differences were observed for all the characters viz. plant height, number of...
متن کاملPhysiological assessment of drought tolerance in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) varieties under moisture stress conditions
Drought is one of the major limiting factors in wheat production in Pakistan. Five commercial wheat varieties; Chakwal-97, Inqilab-91, Margalla-99, NR-234 and Wafaq2001 were grown in pots in glasshouse. Plants were subjected to three consecutive drought cycles at tillering, pre-anthesis and milky growth stages by withholding water till leaf rolling started. Measurements of physiological respons...
متن کاملmapping qtls associated with salt tolerance related traits in wheat (triticum aestivum l.)
salinity stress is a major limitation in wheat production. the lack of economically viable methods for screening salinity tolerance in field is an obstacle to breeders. in this study a population of 254 recombinant inbred lines (rils), derived from a cross between roshan × sabalan was assessed in glasshouse during the seedling phase in order to identify quantitative trait loci (qtls) for salini...
متن کاملDistribution in genome of Quantitative trait loci (QTL) for yield and yield-related traits in common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
A major objective of quantitative trait loci (QTL) studies is to find genes/markers that can be used in breeding programs via marker assisted selection (MAS). From an extensive review, we surveyed the distribution of QTL for yield and yield-related traits on wheat genome. In order to identify the important regions involving in these traits, QTL meta-analysis was performed. As a result, 55 MQTL ...
